I was wondering how far I should take it.. I originally had a whole thing typed out, but decided that less was more.

Yeah it's a 40 breeder.
I should also say that I set this tank up to be SPS dominated... If you are going for a softy tank then please disregard the whole skimming section or feel free to not skim so wet.
These are also just my thoughts and the way that I personally did it. We all know that there are many ways to accomplish the same thing but this is what has been working for me.

Good to hear. Once you get past the first few weeks, PBTs are remarkably tough little fish.

Yeah weatherman he's eating flakes, brine, mysis, and nori now
elephen I used the plexiglass that they sell at home depot. What I did was tape out a "frame" with masking tape, loaded it up with GE silicone II (NOT kitchen and bath), I put the baffles in place, smoothed it out with my finger, and pulled the tape off. It came out real professional.
A little tip i just learned too late is that if you wet your finger before smoothing out the silicone, the silicone wont stick to your finger so bad.

It's actually starting to get a little big. I hope there is someone out there with a big tank, maybe 280 gallons or so, will take him someday.
