Cooking limestone with LR?

As part of an experiment I want to use limestone with live rock in a new tank, since I plan to cook the live rock before using it would it be a good idea to put the limestone in at that point?

I would think it might help seed the limestone early on and get it going by the time the live rock is cooked anyway, but that's just my theory.

Here's the limestone I want to use, it's pretty porous, I'm going to clean it with boiling water before adding it, it's been sitting in a FW tank.

I'm not sure about the limestone. it is not going to be anywhere as good as regular LR. if you do put it in then i would add it from the beginning so it gets permeated more by the bacteria.

Man, I wouldn't do the limestone. Major minerals in that stuff. Algae will love it.
