cleanup crew
what's your favorite snail for BB tank? I haven't been BB for long and I've got a little red algae growing on my cutting board substrate.

Astreas, though their poop is very heavy/dense.
I have kept the same set of Astreas a live for about 1.5 years now, but for some reason I cant keep ceriths (also a BB favorite) a live for more than a couple of months..

I have 4 mexican turbo snails, one of them close to 1.5 inches I guess. The other member of my clean up crew is
MEEEEE!

I dont have a BB but my Turbo is about the size of a golfball and does a heck of a job on my 29g considering hes the only snail. His poops is also pretty dense. The only drawback is that he likes to knock stuff over about once a month.

Sorry, but it is true. I am the one, as many of BB tanks need to have stuff taken out once in a while.

Well, I don't know how big that fish gets, and if some big snails would be safe with him in the tank. If you have to have that fish probably need to get a magnet, and algie scraper and you be the clean up crew.

I have, besides Trochus and Astrea snails, a Salarias Fasciatus. I wouldn't setup a tank without that fish!
