Cerith Eggs?


Just about every cerith snail in my tank did this last nite! I hope its eggs...

Yep those are eggs but very unlikelly aything will become of them though.

Man, they all decided to lay eggs at the same time...on rocks, on glass and on the BB board...this is a first for me...and if nothing comes of it, that's ok, it kinda lets me know things are proceeding in the right direction...it would be nice if they could procreate though, that way I wouldn't ever have to buy more!

Eggs! I have never had babies from it though because my fish eat the eggs as soon as they notice them. I am hopefull now that my tank has no fish I might see some babies.

I have these guys laying all the time, 2 - 3 times per week.
Have never seen a baby one, have put the eggs in another container but still no joy, maybe the have a pleagic stage???

Yup those are the eggs. I've got tons of babies! I think because they were in my sump!

What is a pleagic stage? Never heard of it. Reef-Daddy, do you have chaeto in your sump, or maybe its better to ask how you are keeping your sump so that they can reproduce and grow...
