BB and soft corals?

How do soft corals do in BB tanks? I've been reading for a couple of days, and it seems as if opinions are mixed.

I had a glass bottom at one point, then I also had a couple tanks with Starboard, or cutting board bottoms.

I think the glass bottom is a better deal, but I always did worry about rock breaking the glass.

Good deal! It helps because no matter what you put on the bottom detritus always ends up under it eventually.

Happy reefin!

My softies are thriving in my 29 BB. They are all growing like crazy and I have some palys already growing on the glass bottom.

I'm still learning loads about marine tanks though...I'm interested in your fear of alleopathy as I have an LPS and SPS (and clam) in my tank. Do softies release toxins into the water column enough that I really shouldn't have softies and SPS together?
