A new tank

Well, I made a big mistake. I put Kaudern's Cardinals in a reef tank with High flow. They can't take it! They are, how do I say it, methodical eaters, meaning slooooooooow eaters and just cannot keep up with what's going on in the main reef tank.
I was thinking of keeping them/him/her in a 29 gal. An orbit fixture, HOB filter and no idea of skimmer yet. Lost three, Cardinals, that is, I think, do to inability to eat! They are sooooo slow and are nite creatures, I feel like crud, I didn't know this part of their lives and killed three, so to make ammends will make a tank to slower moving creatures. Wha du ya think? Love to have some blennies and gobies in this tank also, as I miss them, and off the cuff, think they should get along well...but open to any suggestions...bb of course!

Kauderni's... What about a cube shaped tank, with a big rock of staghorns in the middle. Kauderni's will hide in there. Nothing on the bottom, just the glass. Put a diadema in to keep the floor ultra-clean. Kauderni's will hide in there too.
Try to give it a zen look. Kauderni's are very peacefull fish, slowly swimming. I would try to give the whole tank that look.
Try to get a school of 8-10 Kauderni's and a few small goby's to hide in the (porous) rock and corals.

Just let my imagination flow
