Can you give him living food, like fresh mysis or artemia?

Powerman: look to something like a Sargassum Trigger.. I had one in with my SPS and clams..

He did like to rip the heads off of xenia, but I think it was beacuse he was hungry and bored. He also never ate them.. just spit them back out.. I bet he thought they were algae!

Powerman, my bluethroat never was a problem, and not only is the niger trigger I have now not a problem, but he will eat bryopsis if I pluck it off the rocks and hand feed it to him. Ive never seen any other fish eat the stuff.

Yes, since the crash byopsis has reared its ugly head a little, but it seems to be contained. It amazed me when he ran over to me plucking it out and started eating it. LOL

Powerman: I never ever had any problems with the Odonus niger other than a little outward aggression towards my maroon clown. The trigger was a model citizen with that exception, as it NEVER ate my coral or clams. Some other triggers you might try are the bluethroat and sargassum (mentioned above), pinktail, and cross-hatch. I maintain 35 reef aquariums in Jacksonville, and have seen these fish do very well in reef tanks.

Leonardo: So far I have tried:
1. frozen super shrimp (brine)
2. frozen mysis
3. frozen PE mysis
4. Angel Formula
5. Formula 1
6. Formula 2
7. Prime Reef
8. Live Ghost Shrimp
9. Nori
10. Live Chaetomorpha & Caulerpa
11. Frozen Cichlid formula
12. Live little neck clams
13. Fresh "head on" shrimp
14. Live mussels
15. Live Oysters

I have not yet tried the live mysis because I don't think anyone carrys them in Jacksonville. I will try to call around for live brine and artemia (not sure what that is). Thanks for the help, and I'll also try the above mentioned with a garlic soak as well, soon.
