WOW, going from 10k to 14k's

Wow. I just switched from 10's to 14k's...and wow! The colors now pop out so much more! It's amazing.

My orange caps really look orange. My green bali stags look bright green. It's amazing such a little change can do to make your tank look so cool!

Which 14k bulbs did you go with? And where did you order them from?

Give it a week or two and things will really look good! Takes a bit for the corals to adjust.

I went with Phoenix 14k DE bulbs. I now have 2 -250's over my 65 gallon tank. Perhaps a llittle over kill.....but....NAH!

I bought them from Premium Aquatics. I would have bought them from Jim at Midwest, only he said that he was out of stock. He said that they were hard to get. PA had them in stock. I also tried to buy them from another LFS, but they were charging me an extra $15-20 per bulb.

I've NEVER had any problems with PA, and with Ground delivery, I recieve the goods the next day, it's kind of a no brainer.

LOVE the colors and can't believe how the make the corals 'POP'.
