What do you guys feed your fish?

I have been feeding Formula One flakes. I have heard that flake food contains a lot of phosphates.
Is there something better I should be using?

I use frozen mysid shrimp mostly. Fish love them and they are whole for the most part with not alot of "juice".

even with mysis, you should rinse with fresh water as there are phosphates in the frozen stuff..

I predominately feed a homemade frozen mixture of spirulina, nori, squid, mussels, krill, and add some garlic extreme, selcon, and vita-chem. One batch lasts over six months. I just mash all of it up together in a food processor, then add unflavored gelatin to the mix and freeze it. Then when I thaw it, it retains its form so it doesn't create as much of a mess in the tank.

I feed Spectrum flakes and Super Soft Pellets. Just a pinch nightly.

Flake for the most part. I do feed brine shrimp, and mysis several times a week. When I think about it I hang some nori from a veggie clip.
