They're coming...

I saw them tonight at Preuss... They've all been waiting for me since three weeks ago when I saw them last... They're all beautiful and healthy.. They'll make the trip back with me on Sunday and get put into the 75g..

Any guesses?

Trying to build up the hype....

Photos will follow...

after Sunday...

so check back!

Ok.. ok.. here are the photos...

Being acclimated...

First minute in tank without lights... flash was used...

Shots of them finally in the tank and showing off their colors... they 'change' colors from blue to green depending on positioning, etc.. really cool...

So Dave you're the closest without going over! There's nine green chromis... I saw them at Preuss the weekend after the 4th of july while in QT in the back... now they're in the tank...

they're the only LFS I know of that QTs their fish for at least a week before hitting the sale floor.. their QT setup has different tanks.. some getting copper, some getting something else... really cool... since I got 10, they gave me a 33% discount n- without me asking for it! they then packed 3 to 4 per pag that easily held a gallon of water each... then pumped in the oxygen.. they supplied a 3 foot styrofoam box and packed everything in nincely for the 2.25 hour ride back...

I did lose one fish.... it was mine dumb fault.. I transfered from bag to disposable container while it was in the sink... I did a head count in the container and noticed one missing.. I looked around and it was in the drain - yet not through it yet... so I tried to scoop it up and as soon as I touched it, it flipped and slipped down the drain I tried to get it but at that point it was on it's way back out to sea...

in my haste, I didn't clean the glass before taking the photo... but I knew you guys were clamoring to see pics

Funny I just added 3 small chromis to my 75g. They say keeping them in odd numbers is best. So maybe there is a reason one was lost.....sorry to hear that. I would have preferred 5 but they only had these 3 small ones........
