Talk about a bad turn of events...
But it could have been worse..
So I got up this morning, and got my shower. I was sitting down getting ready for work, and I thought... I turned on the DI topoff water last night...and never turned it off! SHOOT!... So I run down the steps to the basement barefoot, and slipped on about the 5th step from the bottom. I slid the rest of the way down the steps, and spun around, landing me on my back on the floor. OUCH... So I go to the DI Topoff tank, and sure enough, it overflowed and left me about a 6' radius puddle of water on the floor. Thank GOD I don't have it plumbed into the tank.. It's still on a timed pump, with NO FLOAT SWITCHES.. note to self: I need to get that float valve from Brett. So, whatever, the carpet is garbage anyhow, the floor is concrete, all the equipment is off the floor, and nothing of value on the floor.
Then today at work, something happened to one of our two compressors, and we were barely maintaining 45psi. We usually run 110+/-...after holding at 65 for nearly an hour, they shut down production.
I get home, and my wife tells me my debit card got shut off, because they believe the number may have been compromised. Fortunately, I have a Paypal card directly linked to the same account.
So yeah, Bad turn of events that could have been much much worse!
