Preuss Pets
OH MY God, sorry but for those of you that have never had the luck to be able to travel to Lansing MI. Please take the time and money to go visit.
I wish I would have had more time and money. What a wonderful place to get corals, they must have had well over a thousand frags.
Sure am glad the wife was out of town LOL

Preuss is my LFS! Now all turn green with envy!
Seriously though, Preuss Salt section has extremely talented staff, very knowlegable, and do not allow you to make stupid n00b mistakes ("Can I get this hippo tang for my 20L?"). I took a reef feeding class with Kirby, one of the senior staff there, and learned TONS.
If any of you make it up to Lansing, let me know, we could meet for lunch and drool at Preuss!

We were up there for a frag swap last winter. After the swap several of us went over to Preuss. They have a very impressive selection of livestock as well as drygoods. I wish we had a LFS that was remotely close to it around here.

Considering it's only 2 hours away, it's really not a bad saturday road trip..
Except for the gas... but if a few guys went up there gas would not be more than $10 a person.....
Hint, Hint....

Pruess is a sweet place to go and check out. I hate to say it though, with their prices plus the price of gas--it's cheaper to order off the internet. Sad but true.

or more.....
Was a nice place to check out, ditto on the distance/driving costs with a regular trip for more than many of us.
Yup, the internet does create a different angle on buying and related costs, i look at the difference from let's say, going to Premium or just ordering (and getting drygoods the next day anyway).Nice to take it all in in person tho, at least once.

ONLY 5 1/2 hrs Tony?
Seemed a LOT longer LOL,,, Quess the whiteout conditions ,and bumper to bumper traffic on the way home, slows down the clock some .
That was a LONG day, for sure!
