New Addition What a steal.

I know these are hard to keep in our tanks if they are not photosynthetic (sp) but at $5 I could not pass it up. I think they had it marked wrong at the LFS. Their loss my gain.
These are the first day yesterday.

Does it look like this?

If so, its Pseudopterogoria--photosynthetic and very hardy

Very nice. I think anything you can get for $5 in this hobby is a steal.

They had it labeled as White Flowering Gorgonia. I asked them if they knew if it was photosynthetic or not and she said she did not know and that most gorgonias are not. I asked her what she was feeding it and she told me cyclopeeze. We'll see what happens.

They are mostly photosynthetic. They do benefit from supplemental feedings with a filter feeding food a few times a week.

I used to use liquid life bioplankton stuff. Haven't really done much feeding lately.
