My new tank

Well I ordered the acrylic today to build my new tank, it will be approximately 96"x36"x29.5" with an interior volume of ~430 gallons. It will have four openings on the top to accomdate the 4 lumenarc 400W MH. Right now the flow consists of 2x6100 Stream, 2X6200 Streams, 1X6060 Stream, 1 wavebox and 1 snapper as the return pump. I'm still trying to decide if I'll use the extra OM 4-way and dart I have as a closed loop. As I work on the project I'll upload some pictures and document my procgress. It's now a race to see which comes first the baby or me finishing the tank.....

I'd be hesitant to run the wavebox...search on RC to read some of the horror stories...it will at minimum lower the life expectancy of your tank.

There are several people in the CMAS forum on RC that have had trouble...to me its just not worth the risk...maybe on a smaller tank...but to have a 430 break....I wouldn't want to even imagine that...

Dan, all I have to say is, "You're nuts!". That tank is going to be freaking insane. I can't wait to see pics of it.

I'd go with the squirt - and if you're up to it, put the revolutions at the output... very cool little devices to get you some random flow in conjuction with the 4 way.
