My 90 Gallon Build
I figured I would share the 90 Gal. build I am doing and the conversion of the 55 gal. over to pipe fish and sea horses (so the wife can get a little excited about salt water). I got a 90g AGA thanks to Brent (Ragsy). The stand is in the process of being sanded and reworked a little (just adding a shelf for the chems). Wife is going to pick the stain again to get her involved a little. I'll have pictures here in a couple days of the progress.

looking forward to the updates. You are right in that this hobby is so much easier if the wife is a little interested in it.

grrrrr.......old lady? and the wife? come on this is not strictly a male domain you know, some of us must get out husbands on board and have them loosen their pursestrings a bit also.....thank goodness my husband has been supportive and has never outrightly stated anything against the amount of money my little hobby costs......

Me too. She doesn't call it a little hobby though. Sorry. I should have said significant other.

Here is one of the doors with part of it unsanded.

Here is the new hardware for the doors and canopy next to the old ones. I know a little boring.

This is the wall where the tank is going to go after the paneling was ripped off.
Attachment 51422
This is half skim coated and the other half not.

Wish I did all this before I moved in the furniture 6 years ago. Paneling is terrible. This is going to take a little while. Wife wants the stand Dark Cherry and the walls beige. Should be a nice contrast. More to come when I get time to work on it. Probably next weekend.

The tank and plumbing is being soaked in vinegar and water. Going to clean it out in a couple hours. Back of the tank already painted and dried. I decided on black so I can hide the black tubing for the spraybars that are going to flow under the LR.
