I should be there as well as long as the kids are taken care of. The wife said she is off that day, but the doc's tend to change the schedule week to week.

Hey, bring whatever you want! I have lots of room. I don't have a lot to trade, but if you see something you like, we can do it.

I have to make sure I don't have to coach that day and well that should be my answer. I will post and let you know tomorrow (monday). So if you need a ride it is your choice. LOL Amy

LOL yeah well count me out this time. My new 120 I finished filling yesterday even went out got some really nice large LR . Well Murpys Law would have it. The stand began to show signs of strain. I walked by and it would move. So I bailed 120 gallons of water already mixed in every unused container in my house. The trash can sprung a leak holding 36gal yes water was everywhere I slipped broke 2 toes and my back and arms feel like I was in a car wreck. That all in day. I then called a friend to load up the new stand and tank I returned them got the cash back and got new stuff for my 75 and decided for now Ill go no bigger. Today was a nightmare. But I did get some new cool LR and played with it till it fit the 75 and decided the original 30 gal that started my hobby I will get it up and going and that is how Monday went. LOL I can still smile. Though I will be going to the Dr. tomorrow due to the pain and heartbeat in my foot.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about your accident, Amy! Was it your floor that can't stand the weight of the tank? I put mine on the outside wall of my house so it's only 3 feet from the foundation, and put it perpendicular to the floor joists. It actually sits on 5 or 6 joists, and I've never had a problem. Mine never moves even if I jump on the floor.
I know it would be very disappointing if I had to bring back a tank like that. I also know how it is to run frantically for every container, too. I fortunately, didn't have to run THAT fast, but I still did. I got my 125 filled up, and then realized I couldn't get the sump under the stand. I drained it halfway, and then moved it out from the wall, wedged the sump in, and pushed it back. I had to do it with myself braced against the doorway across the room, since I could only drain it halfway. It still weighed a good 750 lbs at least.

Good luck at the Dr. today. Hopefully your 'heartbeat' will stay in your chest where it belongs, and go away from your toe soon! Get some good pain medicine! Hope to see you next meeting.

Awww. Hope everything goes good. You will have to post pics of your 75 tank after you get your pain killers and able to move around and not restart your foot beat.

Good Moring, I feel better today the snow is coming down. I am sad about the tank but, honestly I never want to bail another large tank like that again. Maybe I will go to a 90 soon. And the stand was starting to buckle on the sides. It was press board. I should have known better. My 75 has a pine stand. It is more than sturdy enough. I learned that even if it is a gift that you must still be practical. I knew the stand was unsafe. I just didn't want to admit it to the gift giver. Lesson learned. I am for now satisfied with what I already have. The orange mushrooms I got last night are wonderful. I just wanted a tank upstairs But I think the 30 will look nice with a stand and maybe I will make it a special place for seahorses? Anyone got any good advice on that species? TY Amy

Ahh yes, i wondered if those petco pressed board stands would hold a tank up. My 125 is on a pine stand and it's BUILT to last. All I know about seahorses is they are very fragile and sensitive. Almost no water movement and lots of grasses to hold on to. Maybe someone else has some more insight.
