Looking for a rotating powerhead

I saw a power heac on here a while back. Someone from Valpo was selling it. If that person is still selling it please reply to this post. Or if someone else has one to sell that would be cool.

Zoo Meds are the only rotating powerheads I know.

They are not that powerful, I would only use one in a nano tank.

If your tank is larger that 20 Gal consider Seio, Tunze, Hydor and Modified Maxijets.

Or get a sea swirl if you have a sump.

I am goping to use it for a frag tank. It is small like 30 gallons or so and it is just for mushrooms so not alot of water movement needed but I like the idea of the rotating head.

The zoo med powersweeps work great... until the mechanism gets clogged a month later and strips the gears. If you really want a rotating powerhead your best bet is to attach one of the Hydor rotating heads onto a maxi jet.

Would two powerheads on a wave timer work? That is probably your most reliable option for randomized water movement.

IME the Hydors won't work for long either--I've went through 3 of them.

I am the one selling it...they work fine for a while, but they will eventually take a crap...I had some in a prop system for some extra flow...they worked for a few months a stoped moving...the powerhead will continue to work, but not the movement mechanisim....anyways if you want it pm me, i will give you a deal
