Fungia spawning?

I picked up this nice fungia (could be cycloseris--not sure) yesterday at a MWC. He's had it there in the store for a few months and I brought it home and put it in my well established (4+ years) mixed reef. This morning I found that it looked somewhat "overinflated" for lack of a better term, so I watched it for awhile to see what the deal was. As I watched it, it expelled what looked like a sperm cloud out of it's mouth. It did this at about 1 minute intervals about 5 times (at least while I was watching it) then returned to what I would consider "normal".
First of all, was it releasing sperm? And if so is it a result of stress? Should I be worried about it? I have to admit (embarrased enough) that I had it in a bowl on my desk while acclimating it and accidentily knocked a small stapler (my desk is kinda crowded) right on top of it. It didn't really seem to do any damage to it though.

Here's a movie if I can get it to work:

If anyone's interested this is the reply I got from Borneman on the matter:

Almost certainly a release of sperm. The behavior you describe is exactly how it happens and how mine has released, as well. Several puffs over about the same period of time. I am quite sure, as well, that the stress of the move and the change in water quality between tanks probably was a factor. Mine spawned for the first time after taking it from my tank to an elementary school as show and tell for a class on coral reefs.
