Yeah, I seem to injure my self with things that are relatively safe. I was pulling it off the tank, it broke and sliced right through my finger.

Didn't hurt much, just sucked cause the glass got all slippery from the blood.
Well my sump is curing. Since I had a sheet of glass, I only needed small side panels which cost a whole 6 dollars (all 1/4 inch).
Also in the pic is a MH flood that I found for $25; end of the year surplus. Unfortunately it's magnetic. For the price of this and a decent bulb, I think I can deal with it.

Total volume is 24.246 gallons, including skimmer and piping. Return and CLS are powered by quietone 3000s, skimmer is quietone 1200.
Lot's of flow, I might actually have to turn it down.

Lol, I cut myself with my own fingernail today.
I'm a classical guitarist, so I have some wicked nails on my right hand. I was working on my DIY canister filter today, slipped and cut the hell out of my left thumb with my right one...
