The cap is a 2" male slip to 3/4" female slip bushing.

On the 3/4" side the bushing has the lip to stop the pipe from going all the way through, so I took the dremel to it and removed it so I could slip the pipe all the way through the bushing.

On the inside of the bushing, I left about 1" of the 3/4" pipe sticking out so I could put a threaded adapter for removal of the upper side return pipe (not shown in the drawing, forgot about it )

It's all glued in place and leak free.

I'll work on a color coded, more detailed drawing when I get the time.

When I am done playing around with this 10...I am either doing a very similiar deal w/ the 20 I have or will make a 24x24x20 cube setup similiar to this still!

so hows it look now?

I wish I could say it was still up and running, but it's not. It became quite a hassle to keep stable for some reason. It was an extremely challenging tank; the size was very limiting in aquascaping since it had a very large footprint for its height.

Everything is currently living in a 30g hex tank ATM, waiting for me to set up my 75g that has not even had water in it since I bought it a year ago.
