tims 10g nano


well i will toss in my self as a nano builder..
i will be using a 10g used tank and a 10g used tank for a sump. total volume of water will be closer to 15 gallons (u.s)
here is a picture of the two tanks. i can place the paper next to it if you all want to see the date with the tanks..
lighting .. not sure yet..
the main display will drain into the sump . alreaday have drilled adn placed a drian sorta off center right side.

to add to the intial post.
10 gallon tank
10 gallon sump with maybe 5 gallon of water
HOB skimmer in the sump
looking at PC lighting
and softies for this..
if i can do the plumping rihgt i shoudl not need any Poer heads

I am hoping to avoid powerheads as well but at least we are going different ways on lighting. I think it will be fun with similar set-ups

genie you could also do a acylic 10 gallon.. bet roger has some extra pieces in the garage somewhere!

got so many things going on too...i hope to have the glass cut for the sump and drain area this weekend.. maybe even a wet run if i can..
need to start a stand and order the lighting for it

well got a little more done this morning
cut the glass, stopped the bleeding, and made a sump..
i will start the framing for the stand in a little while.

yeah it was one of those, took off the gloves after cutting and wen to pick you the tape measure.. then realized that i had a piece of glass sticking out of my thumb..

Good deal tim, Looks good and what kind of silicone do you use , Just 100 % pure silicone. That is a big tube.
