here are current photos as of 6/23/06
the ten gallon tankis a problem child, it wasa used tank and has many scratches in it, so sorry about the photos, it is really hard to get nice shots..
the leather is closed tright now, did a water change so he is a bit pissed at me. i will grab another full tank shot when he is full open.

you can see the skunk clown a bit better in the above shot. also the Bi-color blenny. i may have to add a coral banded shrinp tomorrow, the batfish seems to want to eat the one i have in his tank...

the rest of the photos are in my free TRT gallery.

kelli, it is ! it keeps growing more and more each day..it has shedded a few times in the last few weeks..seems like each time it doesa closed fora day or so and the mucus layer comes off ( quickly) it looks 2x bigger... in where it is, i am sorta able to judge the growth of it compared to what it covers when fully open.. when the 120 is finally ready it will have a nice spot to grow as big as it wants.

I'll tell ya.. and anyone else that listens, doing this nano really has made me look at how and why things are done. the parameters on the tank, the water level, the lighting.. on such a small amount of water ( even with the sump hold an extra 5 gallons or so) has major implications.. just seeing the leather start to close up when it is down a little bit of water ( never coudl get the top off working right)..
people often say " i will never do a saltwater tank becasue they are too hard" i usally tell them they are not really hard at all , you just need to do some research on them and go slowly..Running a Nano tank compared to a much larger tank seems a LOT harder to me.my 70 has a sump with atleast 20 gallons or more in it soi have a bit more give and take water wise..

Okay off the soap box...
i quess what i am trying to say..
thanks greg for having this build off.. it has taught me a lot about our tanks.

Tim!! I love that leather. Looks like he likes his corner, too. Nice to have the white bubble coral on the other side of the tank
