Steve's 1gal Nano
Hello,
This is my first post on this site and I'm using it to enter the Nano Tank build off.
The tank: Glass Tank
1.12 gal capacity w/o rock
7.5" X 6.5" X 5.5"
I will give an exact capacity after adding rock and sand
Lighting: Shop lamp w/ screw type compact fluorescent
6500k and 20 watts
Filtration: Nano power filter
live rock bacteria
Stocking: Zero fish
Polyps and mushrooms initially
After established???
I will post a picture of the parts tonight. I may add a tiny sump for a heater later if needed.
Steve

Welcome to TRT!
You better ask Santa to bring you a set of long tweezers for Christmas, you'll be needing them. No sticking your hand in that tank!

Here are a couple of pics of the tank and its pieces. The power filter should be here Monday (> $8). I hope to have water in it by Wed night along with the other rock (yea, singular) and sand.

I did not build the tank. Although, I have built others in the past. My friend and neighbor gave it to me in hopes of getting me back into saltwater...I quess it worked.
If I add a sump, I will most likely build that.

Hiya neighbor! I have a philosophy that being tiny makes everything better. 1 gallon, huh? I'm jealous.

Looks good Steve, in a week or so you should be ready for the 20 long you will be setting up in your office. Frags are looking good this morning. Will you be ready for some water tonight?
I better get moving, you will be running before I even have my tank plumbed.
