So there was this flap of loose tissue on a star polyp colony. It might break off and become lost, so we decided to snip it and glue it to one of the return manifold outlets. If it does well, we've got several other varieties we'll glue to the others.

I've been ripped off! I bought mine from Fisher Scientific, a "scientific supply" (as in $$$) company.
Thanks for the link Casey, as I was paying considerably more and this stuff sounds just as good!

Thanks casey. I am firin up a LR prop tank. The idea is to load the dead rock with as much coralline and critters as possible befor selling/trading it to the LFS. I intend to cultre the rock until is is well established then trade the rock in my fuge out. Then it will be a cycle from there out. An establishing tank, then fuge exposure for the extra critters then a seperate maturing system.

100 gal or larger Rubbermaid feeding trough. It can be set up either as a seperate system, or run as an in-line part of an existing system using overflow to drive current through the tank/continer. You can even plant a few mangroves in it as well.

Gluconate has been shown to promote corraline growth, though it doesn't help any on sps corals.. Food and calcium at the same time. I don't use it on anything but cycling live rock, or starting live rock from base.
