HEYYYYY!! nano tanks can be completely awesome if you play your cards right. I know you have less cards to play WITH, but they can still be very pleasing and impressive to the eye

thanks everyone, i picked up my sand, i just got plain caribsea arganite sand, its in the tank now with water, and boy, it looks like milky soup, lol, im gonna put the heater in and get the temp right, then once the temp gets stable ill move my LR from its bucket into the tank. ill get pics once the water clears up more.

Glad your still in, you will be glad for the experience when you do the 75, trust me you will appreciate the learning curve on a nano before you start on the 75.
FWIW, its always better to mix your salt water before adding it to a tank with sand, adding it later, esp with a deep sand bed, its hard to get the water in the sand to infuse the proper ratio of salt

Will I get kicked if I say I liked the "unscaped" aquascape better? Those are some good looking nano-pieces.

Very nice!
I like both aquascapes...but kind of agree with Gwen that I liked the un-aquascaped version better.
But either one looks great!
YEAH on the new LR!!!!

i agree with all of you, the unscaped version was nicer, but i couldnt get it to be stable like that, it fell over with the slightest touch, so i just gave up on it, and scaped it this way, im sure the scape will change some between now and later, but for now, this is it.
