My Big/Little Nano tank
I think I'm gonna try this! The tank is a 29 gallon empty tank measuring 30x12x18. I figure by the time its complete with Live Rock and a sand bed it should be about 16-19 gallons. I plain on using LPS corals/sandsifters and snails, probably some hermit crabs. Lighting will consist of compact fluorescent @130 watts. Filtering by LR and sand, large particulate matter cleared using a biowheel filter without the biowheel, but using the cartridge filter and carbon.
Tank already has stand....

Thanks Kelli, now I just have to catch up to the rest of you. My cooking LR looks pretty good now so I figure on taking some, smashing some of it to smaller pieces and using it...time will tell, just have to figure out what to do to get the water moving in the tank, I don't think the hang on filter will be enough..some kind of little powerhead I guess...think I have one or two laying around someplace.

yea, there are repair jobs all over the tank seams and the bottom crack-holds water now so I dont want to just let the tank go...figured this nano thing would be an excellent use! I just hope it won't give under the weight of sand and rock!!!!!!

ok, so after seeing what genie did, I decided to replace that bottom glass...nitemares over the thing crashing when set up...not to hard to do once I got the sealer act together...think I had more on my hands than on the seams, , but by the end, I truly got it together !
