Mike's 2.5 g w 2.5 g sump

I guess since I am getting ready to set up a little reef in my office, I'll play along.

The setup I'm building will include a drilled 2.5 gallon AGA. 1" bulkhead with standpipe and modified Durso to keep things quite. This will drain to a 2.5 gallon sump that will house a refugium and return. I may end up adding the little Sanders Piccolo skimmer I have but I'm still trying to figure out how all that will play out. The lighting I currently have is 2 9w PC with a 7w PC for the refugium. I have a number of smaller filters that I am hoping to employ but I'm not sure at this moment how everything will fit into place. I've also been toying with the idea of using the 70 w MH setup I currently have on another tank.

Do we have to spell out the entire setup right now or can it evolve as we go along? Not sure whether I remember anything about that in the rules.

Where will we be posting the pics? Do we post them in our galleries?

Well, the build is under way and here's pics of what I have so far!

I've leak tested it and will be taking it to the office on Tuesday. Still trying to decide if I should go with a refugium or skimmer. Not sure whether both will fit unless I can find a way to have the skimmer on the fuge side of the sump.
