Update:
Stepfather Skeety and Mayla did not get a chance to start on nano tank.
Mayla has the flu.
I'm wondering though... I'm doing a lot better than I was this weekend, and i'm going to school tomorrow... do you think it would be ok for me to start some things on the tank, or could I disease the tank?

okay...so...here's some progress.
Until I can find an acrylic store that's open, some of this is kind of temporary. For example, I don't have a stand...so I'm going to use two table, and space them apart a bit...thus creating a hole in the middle...for plumbing.
So...in the mean time, I need a support to bridge the gap. Here's our temporary support:
but while it is temporary...it's still kind of ugly...(and not good enough for what we plan to do). So.....we got a cover:
(more to come)

now...here comes the part(s) that might give you a hint as to what we're doing that's so exciting to us!
here, we've placed the base over the gap in the two tables. The little PVC risers are to support and to (here's the key) elevate the nano tank above the base. Why, you ask? ahhh...can't tell you that yet.

okay...ONE last hint, before I run to the hardware store to get a few pieces I'm missing.
Take a look at this pic:
okay...so here's the nano tank...elevated on the base.
So far, no big deal, right? So why the suspense? Why am I making a big deal out of this?
well....here's the clue: "Why is there only ONE bulkhead in the tank?"
we now open this thread up to some guesses?

Interesting idea! Have you thought of how you will deal with salt creep?
