okay...I can't remember how the rest of the song goes...but hopefully you were all thinking 2001, a Space Oddessy! hahaha


anyways...been up and running for about 30 min...and look...NO splashes:


and here's a view from dead on...you can see through the tray a bit, and tell that the water level isn't dangerous:

and finally...a view (with flash) of the whole setup:




now...the rest is up to Kayla! hahahaha

Got some sand today. Gonna get that in, mixed with some CC from my main display tank. Only a bit...not more than a cup or two. Then I will be drilling out the bottom of the LR so it will fit right over the output pipe, then Kayla takes control!

I'm SOOOOOO friggin' excited this thing works!!!

did you try rounding the corners any? just wondering if it worked, or did not make a difference. you can try it on your slightly larger tank, so you do not risk the real one.

We did some serious work today.
I tested Nitrates, Ammonia, and pH. Everything is lookin good!

We may be off to get my randall's and pistol tomorrow!
