Thanks Jenni
Most of that rock is Marshall Island- it has lots of holes and it's easy to zip tie together.
The LR came from my LFS: http://imagine-ocean.com/

Oh boy..if yall keep talking about shoe sizes and dancing banannas we might have to slap a PG-13 sticker on the title. lol I love the tanks so far. Tell me how you like the 14k as far as algae growth and stuff like that. Im still debating over 10, 14, and 15k Bulbs.

14K shouldn't affect algae growth- over feeding your tank and not exporting excess nutrients are gonna cause algae.

Looking good, seems like you steped up and got the good stuff off the bat.\
Nice job on the arch, did you drill those zip ties in or just use natural holes?

Gwen,
I have the skimmer box for the Remora on my 55. IMHO it's a PITA. It's mounted with two little tiny nylon screws that attach to the pump. Now the pump is in the left chamber and the output flows into the right chamber.
OK the box is fairly heavy so mounting it to an off center pump hanging by a vinyl hose makes it hang crooked a lot of the time. You have to go in and adjust it to make it level again or the skimmer part wont skim or the overflow part will run off into the tank instead of going through the filter box, carbon, etc. Can you say micro-bubbles? I thought so.
Everything is plastic so coraline loves it and that can make adjusting those mounting screws difficult.
There's got to be a better way to do this. Maybe putting the pump inside a built in overflow box? Then again, in a nano it may just sit on the tank floor and be ok.
hth,
Jim
