Well I might not get it early. Might have to wait until xmas, and might hold off on the skimmer until my bday. We'll see- it's up to mom, but at least all my goodies are on the way!!

Purchased 18lbs of LR from Imagine-Ocean tonite. I'm storing it in the big tank until I get more equipment on the nano.
The rock was being cleaned immediately after I placed it in the tank.

Ok so on Monday the Marine Depot box arrived. I took the heater and one pump as early xmas presents... shhh don't tell mom!! *see 1st pic* It took overnight for the tank to warm up to 79-80ish. On Tuesday night, I played with rock- YAY!! *see 2nd pic* Time went fast and it was midnight before I knew it- that's how much fun I was having.... ok, so I'm easily amused. So the tank now has rock and I've started the cycle!!! There are a few critters crawling around since the rock was in the big tank- there are bristle worms *go figure* and a few baby ceriths. The tank is cloudy in the pic, but it's all cleared up now.
This weekend I should have the other pump, and maybe lights hooked up- YAY!!

Great job Gwen! Looks like you've got those rocks locked in there tight! Arches are great because you have light level gradients to work with and then the cool cave effect too!

Thanks Roger and Ron...
I'm glad u like the arch Roger, I keeping thinking to myself, "was this a good idea?" ... don't really know the pros and cons of having a setup like that... and they are locked fairly tight... kinda ran outta plastic ties, but its locked together in 3 sections for the most part, besides the few rocks I loosely added to the top... should be ok.
