Gwen - if you find the answer to the phosphates/nitrates, lemme know, too.
But other than that, your tank looks great! I love the actinic look

Cath- I have noticed an increase in skimmate since changing the flow around. Seems like my skimmer was barely working before. Maybe the way I had the flow moving, the detritus wasn't getting suspended in the water column. The rocks look less fuzzier today- with 31 hermits and no food, they should! I've been blowing the rocks no less than twice a day. I'm trying. Also I have less rock too- maybe there was too much rock and the flow couldn't get around all the rockwork. I'll know more in a few more days.
Thanks Cath

Great shots Gwen!
Yep, get all that detritus up in suspension and you'll see some big skimmer efficiency and algae improvements.

Tank looks great...so does the wall paper behind it I need some of that for my son's room since we can't find Sponge Bob.
...YGPM and I will beg you in public so that you can feel gratified
