Good looking tank.

Mine has the same footprint, I love the size.

The guys at Waves drilled the tank for me: Two 1/2" returns and one 1" drain. Tommorrow I'll get the plumbing set up and take some pics.

So I picked up some aquarium bucks from some loved ones for my Bday. I was hoping to use them for something sexy like lights, or pumps. Instead I got a basic RO unit so I don't have to haul 40 gallons of water to the apartment.

Coming along VERY nicely!!!

And while an RO/DI unit might not be "sexy" itself...it will help your tank tremendously! So think of it as Salad that helps keep a "sexy" figure!

congrats on the RO/DI unit! Very nice purchase choice!!!

(in case you need some tips on installation, I have a dinky, but kind of nice, DIY page on installation here:
http://mysite.verizon.net/s0da/diy.html )

keep us posted!

Update:

Slowly gathering water.

I picked up a rubber-backed area rug to go under the stand, I've damaged one chunk of flooring in the apartment already, I want to avoid doing two.

Tank is full of water. Added the first batch of salt and letting it come up to tempreture.

Build a sluice so the water slides from the high level in teh sump to the low level.
