Sump/Fuge Started Today

Good news I got some work done today. Here are a few picks

The skimmer will rest on the shelf shown in this photo. To allow easy removal for cleaning.


The skimmer is set in position. Now I can plumb the outles and compete the skimmer. The skimmer has a removable base plate for cleaning and changing the airstone.

Very nice. Good work so far. I couldn't begin to start working with acrylic. Don't think I have the patience for the work.

I had to order more acyrlic and plumbing supplies and should be here Monday. I tried the acyrlic from Lowes and trashed it total junk. The sub-floor and floor design is complete just need to get the acyrlic here for the construction. Photos update soon.

Update 11/23

Completed the sub-floor and sub floor support. Here are a few pictures. Starting on the overflow next.
