any recommendations for buying bulkheads, I have tried to find non fish stuff to keep it interesting but I think it will come down to an online order. I was hoping to avoid that. Not that it is bad but a diversion from the plan but the whole thing is a diversion right?

slow very slow. I do plan to get some work done this weekend, glass cutting, painting, etc. hopefully blood free though, did you get cut bad?

hey, sorry, I think Vince said "you work?" and it broke loose.
I have made some progress. A sump/fuge, now curing rock in it. found some polyps on a rock, waiting to see what they are. got the bulkheads, will drill soon. we are very of like mind still. I saw how much you have spent so far and I am calling mine the recycler

When you've got a garage full of tank stuff, it doesn't cost much. I've got about $30 in mine. I admire anyone who can take a little and make a lot. "The tank's the thing", after all! Good idea on a single colony of coral, too!

well I started cycling rocks in my DYI sump. had a little yellow tang get sick, been working so much lately that I feed and do water changes that I didn't notice why he was hiding so much and hardly saw the tank with the lights on. any way when I saw what was going on I tested the water in the sump with rock and decided it could be a short term hospital, too late though.
anyway the nano is coming along, I have taken vacation around thaksgiving and hope to drill and plumb and maybe get a new yellow tang
