Tropic Waters Has Corals
jim doesnt have alot to choose from....and im not sure on his pricing since i havent bought coral in a store other than OTP.....but some it may be priced right....
his mushrooms ARENT thou....$70 for a small rock with a few heads of green stripe.... 
he does have a few INTERESTING pieces that i have not seen in any ones tanks yet.....
so GUYS/GALS might be a chance to get something NEW into the club....

I went in there today and, as usual, half the stuff looked like it was on its last legs... But, DJ is right, they do have a small selection of corals, though prices there are always on the high side.

he needs some competion up here....thats the whole issue....or at least thats what i think....with no competion he can sell what ever for whatever he feels like charging and people are gona buy it....
maybe we all need to pool our money together and open up ECRC TROPICAL FISH AND CORALS......  |

yeah better than petsmart that doesnt even carry salt water stuff what a joke. i went in there to get a glass top for my tank for one side they wanted 32.99 i got 2 for 40 at TW

im not sure on names cuz he doesnt put names out....just MED CORAL ON ROCK and then a price....and im not good with coral IDs yet....
he has 2 things that i want but im not paying 70 for them.....
one is some kind of leather i think....its real bright green...even under his NON coral lights....but its in the back of one of them corner tanks and its dimly lit in there so hard to make out everything...
the other kinda looks like a toadstool in shape...but instead of being covered in polyps it just has these lil "wart" lookin bumps spaced out on it with polyps that come out of them....
hows that for IDs!!!! LOL....best i can get at them right now if i dont already know what it is or should be....
granted they are doomed in his system with NO lights...which kills me since he SELLS T5 lights....and you cant tell me that he doesnt know anything about corals.....since his 180corner at least has good lighting on it....

yea no doubt i think a lot of his stuff looked bad yesterday also but his fish are way more expensive then petco sometimes double

naw this is a fresh off the truck mandrin.....jim still has his in the 180g corner tank......i looked for it when i saw this one...then i called jim the next day on it....and well the rest is history!!! this guy is a GOOD 5IN long and a good 1in in the body 2+in with his fins.....
YOU PEOPLE ARE YOUR PICS>>>>got pics of the tank,,,got pics of the fish,,,,pics pics pics PICS PICS PICS....GEEZE PEOPLE!!!!!!  ya ill get pics of EVERYTHING tomorrow....ill have time to then..... |

sounds like the corals are a green nepthea and the other is a type of pagoda redish with yello "warts"? is so yep we have those.

like i said he dont list what they are...and with his lights its BLAA for color IDs.....the one is a tan color with tan warts but that may just be his lights....
i dont think its a green nepthea...unless its just HIGHLY upset and unhappy.....it doesnt brach out like that...whats there is thick bodied....
the other may be a pagoda....i forgot what they looked like....had to google it....does look like it thou
like i said i dont know much for corals.....im a fishy person!! LOL
