ack. About an hour before we were going to leave for the meeting I twisted my ankle and ended up spending that time at Urgent Care getting X-rays. It's not broken, but I have to have physical therapy... apparently my chronically injuring myself is giving me arthritis.

Very cool tank! What a great opportunity for the Osseo students to see and learn on a system that big. Thanks Steve.

Thanks again Steve for having us over to see the tank and drink your home brew. The frags I got from you look great in their new home. Hopefully, they'll grow to become as large and look as good as your colonies.

Brian is that you in the WI t shirt and drinking the home brew
Looks like you guys had a blast,
So sorry to have missed it. My mom came in for a visit and I couldn't get away. Jeff was hoping to, but he also felt bad leaving since she took the long trip to see us.
We will come by to see you sometime Steve. I got a chacne to see his beautiful tank a few weeks ago, so I know you guys must have loved it. Jeff would love to check it out.
Did anyone know what the VERY large orange tip coral is? It looks like some kind of anemone??
I will bring along trades that we had planned to David's meeting or plan to meet at Gregs in next couple of weeks.

Yes, that is me in the Wisconsin t-shirt. There was about a dozen or so of us that showed up and I think we all had a good time.
The large pink tipped coral is an elegance coral. They used to be one of the easiest corals to keep, but nobody can keep the ones harvested within the last several years alive.
Lori - Do you know what kind of pink SPS coral that is in the third pic? None of us have been able to figure it out for sure yet. I bet that you would love to get your hands on one of Steve's purple shrooms.

I love the bright yellow corals at the top of the tank. I've ordered an upgrade for lighting on my nano tank, so maybe I'll be able to keep some more varied kinds of things soon.

oh gosh brian you know me too well, lol...
I actually have a corner snip from one of those tongas that I had been babying in a glass, and now it has formed a circular shape and attached to a shell, so I am keeping my fingers crossed it will grow into something.
It didn't have piece of a mouth, it was just a snip from a corner, but the fact it is hanging on and growing has me hoping...

Thank you Steve for a great time! The tank was fantastic and the home brew was killer. Thanks again for the frags, they're doing great.
Thanks to the club for setting this up, hope to see you all at future meetings.

FYI - I have been told by a couple of people that the pink SPS is a Stylophora sp.
