tangs together
hi
wondering what will happen if I put a yellow tang in with my lipstick tang...( naso tang, I believe) anyway........will it be war...and ICK eventually, or will they learn to get along.
I've heard 'don't mix tangs' but I see them 'mixed' all the time.
You tell me, I dunno.
thanks.
L.

You can mix them in large tanks... what size tank do you have? I'm thinking you will want a tank at least 120-150g before you mix them...

this one is 100, but with a lot of swim space and rocks placed so they can hide/swim through etc etc etc. Probably not a good idea. thanks

I have a yellow tang and a blue tang both in my 60 gallon. They are best buds, but they have been together since they were pretty tiny.
If you move the rock around a little so you even the palying field,,,, both of them will feel they are in new territory... i would think it should be fine.

I took my Niger trigger to the fish store...locally....they finally hired someone who is trying to learn about sw fish. We talked a long time and she had a lot of questions, some of which I could answer...and she was real nice too. Then, in exchange for my trigger, I got a Clown Tang. So far, ever one is fine and getting along, he's hiding out a bit, but he is beautiful when he does come out....and coming out more and more.....happy happy happy!!!!! OH, not moving, not happy not happy not happy.
