How long have you had the fish? I've always have a fairly hard time to get coral beauty's to eat right away in my q-tank. I think they get freightened too easily. Once I get them into a tank with lots of LR, they seem to eat much better. To get them to eat, I like to feed garlic soaked frozen foods. Can't think of the name, but they make a mixed frozen food package that is geared towards
dwarf angels and that one seems to work the best. Yellow eye tangs can also be pickier eaters at first. Put some
macro algae (or micro if in a q-tank) into the tank and let it remain in there and see if it starts to dissapear from the tank eating it. The thing that usually works best for me with any new fist is to make sure that they don't see you feeding them until the get more used to you being around. If your standing there trying to watch them eat, they will just stay in hiding.
