Talking

Some new tank additions!

From just this morning, and direct from our very own lfish.

She stopped by with this whole group below!

No respect at all; taking pictures while we're still in the bowls acclimating!

You know, you could at least give us time to settle in and not look so stressed out before you start snapping pictures. How would you like it if we came in and took a picture of you when you'd just crawled out of bed?!

There was also an itty bitty star fish that came along for the ride, as well as one snail.

Thanks again Lori; I'll keep you updated on how these guys are all doing.

Edit: And as a quick update, since those pictures were taken, everybody has perked up quite a bit. They all seem to be adjusting very well.

Edit #2: Added more pics as a comment.

oh gorgeous. What is that red guy, and would he do ok in a 12 gallon nano reef? Is that hairy mushroom? I'm pretty new to reef keeping, but I love all the variety and colors!

The green one is a hairy mushroom, and the red one is a bubble tip.

So far my poor clark's clown, who has been anemone-less for his entire eight years of life, has only glanced at either of them but as they perk up and he settles down (Pertinax was MAD at me for having my arm in there; he attacked me the entire time) I'm sure he'll just love the bubble tip.

Hehe, refresh the thread in a few minutes; I just got back home to find the clownfish going bonkers and 'snuggling' up to the bubble tip.

He's almost giddy seeming, and I snapped a few pics.

More pics! I arrived back home from running a few errands to find that Pertinax (my clark's clownfish) had taken a shining to the bubble tip anemone.
I can't even describe how happy that makes me, as this poor guy spent his entire life before we got him (8 years!) without an anemone.
I know they don't technically need one, but pets don't need a lot of the things we do for them or give to them to live; we do it because it makes them happy.

And I have one happy clownfish this afternoon! Pertinax seems so happy with it, that I think it deserves the dancing banana icon.
