Long story short...
I got rid of my "mother" RBTA because it was moving all over the tank. It had split a couple weeks before, but the split disappeared a couple days ago, right before I sold the larger one. Today I found the split in my sump below the tank... Not quite sure how that happened...
But, I'm selling the split because I'm going entirely sps in my tank (other than my LTA in the sandbed), and I don't want to risk an RBTA moving around and killing any frags. It's in pretty good shape, considering it spent a couple days in my sump without light. It's back in the main tank in a bucket, and getting partial light so it can slowly acclimate back to a normal lighting regime. I threw a nice little piece of coralline-encrusted branch rock in there for it to attach to.
I'm asking $30 or best offer for it. I just want to get rid of it so I can focus on the sps collection and not worry about having this RBTA in there still. So, claim it outright or make an offer at your convenience. I'd appreciate it getting out of my tank, even if I don't get a fortune for it. Please, though, good homes only. I don't want to see it go into an inappropriate tank and be abused.
I also have some nice small to medium pieces of assorted fiji and fancy branch rock that I don't need or want anymore. It's sitting in my sump awaiting a new home. I'd estimate there's maybe around 15-20lbs. Possibly more. I'm asking $5/piece or $25 for all of it. Once again, I'd just rather get rid of it, it's doing me no good down there...
I'll try to post some RBTA/Live Rock pictures tonight if anyone wants to see exactly what I'm getting rid of. Probably around 9-9:30pm when I get back home.
With the meeting at Dirk's in
Red Wing coming up, all proceeds of the anemone/rock will go toward putting more gorgeous creatures in my tank at the end of this month, so please help me out!
Thanks,
Joe
