percula vs. ocellaris clowns

whats the difference in the 2? i was told when i bought mine they where perc's but i think they are oc's according to the pics on the net.

im so confused

Typically the black line between the orange and white is wider in the True Percula and very thin in the Ocellaris. Often with the True Percs, the black stripes will merge together as they mature.

I'll see if I can find you a couple pics. Do you have any pics of yours?

im tryin to locate my cable for the camera to link to the pc now...as soon as it surfaces i got ton of pics on the camera to load on here....photobucket work on here?


mine are a real bright orange not the pale yellowish orange if that makes a difference.....

that black onyx is a beautiful clown.....wish i could find one....

Photobucket does work. We have a great photo gallery here as well, if you would like to store them here.

The orange color is more dependent on the food they got when the were first born.

The Black Onyx is a bit harder to find. I drove 4 hours to get one and this is the only one they had left.
