im working on pics now, we juat moved to this new house so my camera cords are still in boxes..

a far as lighting.....go ahead and laugh...but im just getting started....

on the 30....regular tank hood with a 10000k ocean light, empior 400 HOB filter with biowheels

on the 75....dual 36in strip lights.....10000k coral light and the other is waitin on a moon light bulb to show up....1 emperior 400 HOB w/biowheels,1 magnum350 canister with coral carbon inserts,2 601 power heads and one 200 wavemaker(which doesnt move much water.(all from petco, blah)

the 75 will be converted over to halite(SP) lighting but its still a work in progress...

skimmers.......30...none....75 none(AT THE TIME) this tank has only been up for a month....waitin on tropic waters to get some in i cant remember what brand they carry thou

so let the %*^ chewing begin for my setups!!!! LOL but remember its still a work in progress and i keep up with my maintance on them so all my param's st in check.....

the only issue i seem to be having is temp....in my 75 the temp stays around 78-80f.....ive been told it should be around 82f what type of heaters do yall run????

thanks for looking
dj

where did you run into Jrmass? Temp is in the right spot right now. Tropic waters HOLD OFF ON. Look around here and Shoot me a PM at some point Depending on what your wanting to do with your tank there may be a skimmer around these parts for much less. are you planning on a sump? or hang on skimmer? have you read any books(skimmed)? How much live rock do you have in the tanks at this point.

Aaron, I actually ran into him by accident as I was "scanning" Craigslist *as I do now and again*. And happened to see that he was from the Eau Claire Area. Thus mentioned that he could look into talking with some of the members in our club as we are always willing to take in new hobbiests/members.
