My Green Grape Caulerpa came today! :D

That stuff ships quite well, and there was a LOT of it. It was pretty compact in the bag, but as soon as it hit the water, woah...like those foam capsule toy things.

It adds quite a lot of nice green to the rocks its wedged to. Hopefully it'll take root after a couple of weeks. It's not going anywhere due to current as I've been watching it and readjusting as necessary.

Very pretty stuff, and the fish are leaving it alone for the most part.

Should I ever get overgrowth in the future, I suppose that'll be what I bring to club meetins. Green yummies.

...and red ones from the other set of plants.

Screw a refugium, I'll set it up in the main tank.

And will just avoid tangs.

The whole tank

Just the green grape

And, because I can, my ever growing convict cichlid fry

Hey Nice yellow tail blue damsel Where did he come from? I am glad Greg gave him to you, he will have a good home there. He was too aggressive towards my maroon clown, but in a damsel only tank, he should do just fine. Let me know how your caulerpa works out. I am interested in how it does and if it ever goes sexual. I am thinking about adding to my refugiumwith my cheato, but haven't decided yet. Good luck!

Ah, so it was your damsel?
He's completed my 'pairs of damsels'; two blue devils (both female), two dominos, and now two yellow tails.
I had two yellow tails at one time, but one jumped out of the 10 gallon when I had to move them all and I found it all crispy on the floor when I switched aquarium stands. Oops. :O

The maroon in my tank takes no crap from ANY of them. She beat the hell out of the biggest blue devil girl and since then they've all left her alone. She eats first, and if she wants to be resting where a damsel is currently resting, they make way. Heh, part of me cant' wait until that clown gets larger. She's grown a lot since I got her (she was the tiny, tiny one they had in the bowfront with the giant yellow tang at tropic waters and she's about twice the size as she was when we got her.)

She's disturbing me a bit though as she keeps trying to host with the chocolate chip starfish. The star doesn't seem to mind, but it's just...odd.
Guess the green hairy mushroom isn't good enough for her, oh no, she wants the starfish.
