Moving/transprting Fish

hey guys just wondering if anyone knows a safe way to move marine fish 1400miles or ruffly a 2 day trip?

there is talk of us moving back to mississippi in a few months and i would really like to be able to keep the fish instead of having to start all over down there...

i really hate the idea of having to maove again but things just arent workin out up here....moved here for a better start and it seems like im going backwards....VERY LONG STORY.......so i wont bore yall with it...

thanks for any ideas on what i can do....and as far as shippin to someone down there...aint gona happen....i dont now anyone that has a marine tank...

I have had extremely good luck with the Kordon Breather bags, but the fish have to be small and not spiny. They are great because you don't have to worry about the amount of air the fish is getting, and since you don't put any air in the bag there is no sloshing. I've had my fish in them as long as 5 days without trouble. I stick a few pieces of zeolite in. The bags are also reusable.

On another note, if you do have large and/or spiny fish you will have to do the bubbler method. I will say that the sloshing can be quite stressfull on them but I moved my larger fish 700 miles without any problems other than temp issues.

if you do a larger insulated minnow bucket with a bubbler is just fine and a heater with a converter. I use this trick when I get fish from chicago and I know its going to be a long trip. I have not lost a fish yet.
