Question

Meetings?

I was just wondering if we should just set a date in the month and keep it that way every month... i.e. the third Saturday. This way everyone would know ahead of time and be able to make plans.

Any suggestions or comments?

I like that idea!

(... and maybe we could have Seahorse or someplace be a fall back option if no one can host?)

Do saturdays usually work best for everyone or do other days?

I know a couple of people that couldn't make it mentioned that evening might work better, so maybe we could make some of the meetings later. Alternate or something?

Seahorse is a great alternate Lori . Weekends work best for me but we should alternate to accomodate others as well. Saturday or Sunday is fine, but also we can try the weeknight. Maybe we can post a poll and vote on our website or here. Chuck what do you think? Are you the official president yet or not.

a poll sounds good. I know I work evenings Sun-Thurs. and Frank works days Mon-Fri so Saturdays or Fri. nights are best for us.

Weekends would work the best for those of us that are out of town.

I like this idea, but I am wondering with Holidays if it could be tough to have a set date each month?

Does everyone like monthly, or should we consider every other month?

I think alternating between Saturday night and Sunday afternoons might be good. Maybe every other month if that helps allow more people to attend, but I think flexibility is the key.

I am kind of thinking that monthly is better, because ultimately is does give more options. We are all going to miss meetings from time to time, but this way we have a more likely chance of making some of them if they are more freguent.

If we go every other month, and a person cannot make the (next) April meeting, then they wouldn't get to a meeting for 4 months. Just a thought.
