looking for algae

Does anyone have some algae in their refugium that they are willing to part with? I'm looking for Red Gracilaria, Red Kelp on Rock, Sea Lettuce, or Agar Seaweed. I'm also interested in mangroves.

I have some chaeto available if you want some. None of the others that you listed though. I can could bring it up to the next meeting if I can make it.

I have something growing on one of my rocks, maybe you could help me identify it since I'm not that familiar with algaes. It's a dark purple/red color and has small 'leaves'. It's growing in a little patch on some of my lr.

It's worth checking eBay. I got 1/2lb of live red gracilaria for about $20 with shipping.
http://stores.ebay.com/Exotic-Aquatics-and-Pets is the seller I got it from; they also sell mangrove seedlings, various other algaes, and some really odd plants from time to time.

I also found (and bought) a gallon bag full of Green Grape Caulerpa from another seller. Generally, you don't have to pay for overnight shipping on most macroalgae; just priority with a heat pack. A lot of varieties ship quite well.

Heh, and both of mine came with quite a few little critters still alive on them (snails and pods mostly),
