July 14th Mtg in Black River Falls

LARK is hosting a meeting in Black River Falls at 2:00 on July 14th and since BRF is less than 45 min. from EC, it would be great if several ECRC members could attend the meeting. The meeting should provide a great opportunity for everyone to trade corals and meet some new people. I'd expect between 15-20+ LARK mebers to attend. Here is a link to the post about the meeting in the LARK forum. http://thereeftank.com/forums/showth...33#post1088333 Feel free to post pics of corals that you will have available to sell/trade at the meeting.

Please PM or e-mail me if you have any questions or need directions.

Aaron - I don't know of anyone that is looking for any specific hardware, but there has been plenty of items that have traded hands at past meetings. I see that Jason (Jrmass) has mentioned to Petunia that he may be interested in her Halide fixture.

BTW - If Greg would like, I could try to bring the frags that I prommised him to the meeting.

well, a lot depends on type of fixture as well as wattage of course. I already have a 834 watt aqualite pro on my 125. I'm just looking for something durable for over the top of my 70 gallon possibly for a frag growout. But, as far as the meeting goes you can assure yourself that I will be there. 99% sure that my wife will go with me as well (unless something major comes up of course)

Just curious, is anyone besides Aaron and Chuck going to try to make it to the meeting?

FYI (esp. Joe) - I beleive Chris's tank is an SPS dominate tank with some very nice and colorful corals.

At this time, I think I am going. However, I won't be able to confirm that 100% until the middle of next week. For what it's worth, I can ALWAYS use more sps frags in my tank. :-) In fact, I could even bring a few sps frags if there is interest. But, first we'll see if I can make it down there.

Sounds good guys. I think you both already have access to the LARK member's area, so you should be able to pull the directions off of there. Let me know if you aren't able to get the directions or need anything else.

Well, I might be able to make it. I'm going over to River Falls Days to be with my boyfriend and his family. I don't know what time that will be yet, but I'm hoping I can make it to the LARK meeting and then go to RF in mid-to-late afternoon. Once I know a time for River Falls Days when I'm supposed to be there, I'll let everyone know if I can make it. If I can make it, I'll post pictures of the sps I have for sale/trade, and I'll make frags for those who want them.

I will be there on Saturday, and can probably stay a while. My plans to be in River Falls have changed, allowing me plenty of time to be in BRF. I'll try to get around to posting sps frags for sale/trade tonight, but it might have to wait until tomorrow.

-Joe

p.s. Chuck, are you driving there by yourself, or is your family coming? If you're driving there alone and want to carpool, let me know. I'm all about being "green." :-) Otherwise, I'll drive seperately and see you down there!
