hitchhiker bivalve identification help

I realized today that the rock with the neat fossils in it isn't fossilized at all and the little rascals are alive. Can anybody ID what kind of mussel these are? There are 2 of them, you can see the mouth of the top one closing in the top one. They're glued in there nice and tight.

I have several of the same things, Been there for 2 years now, Never was able to get a real id other than common encrusting mussels

well cool, they're on a nice rock with a bunch of ricordea on it. What do I need to do to keep it healthy and happy? I don't want to kill them and crash my tank by not caring for them properly. That's now Frank's favorite in the tank... he liked it when he just thought it was ricordea, but now... super cool. :P

i've never done anything special for them, They filter feed so I believe i read they filter out some of the nitrates in the water as well as any thing that would float by, bits of fish food, plankton food for the corals etc. I really don't know, but they've done great for over two years in my tank.
