Beautiful fish, Greg. My brother in Texas had a few weeks of the hair algae but he brought in a clean-up crew of snails and crabs and now everything's great. Apparently, it's not that uncommon a situation but easily overcome.

yes it can be overcome, but Greg has a puffer in that tank and the puffer will just eat any snails or hermits he puts in the tank.

It's all about the wording, Greg. Don't call it hair algae... Tell everyone it's your FOWLR Bonsai tank. :-) It's not a nutrient problem, it's art. :-)
